"We mean it when we say that there are no nasty surprises at Dribe. However, we have some rules that we would like our customers to adhere to, as deviating from them may result in expenses or loss of revenue for us.
Therefore, we have compiled a price list with the worst-case fees you may incur if you do not use the car as intended.
At Dribe, we do not view fees and fines as a source of income. All the amounts are set based on the direct expenses we incur for each item or indirectly due to lost utilization of the car. For example, if it needs to be in the workshop for 4 days."

Fee - Standard prices for repairing minor damages/missing items

Failure to attend the accompanied inspection at the return of the Vehicle.
Including cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled inspection. If the Lessee arrives more than 10 minutes late to the agreed-upon time, it will be considered a failure to attend, and the Lessee will be charged the fee. The inspection will not be conducted.
750 kr. per area
The price covers superficial scratches that can be polished away without repairing the paint. If a scratch can be felt with a fingernail or has a different color than the car's paint, it is considered a paint damage, and the scratch will be treated as an insurance case. One element is considered one area, which means, for example, one door, one fender, the hood, or the roof. If the same scratch extends over multiple areas, such as both the door and the fender, the charge will be for each area separately, in this example, two times 750 DKK.
Dents without associated paint damage and/or scratches. The dent should have a smooth shape without sharp edges and must not be pointed or V-shaped. If the dent is located on a 'ridge' or crease on, for example, a door, fender, or hood, it cannot be pulled out, and the damage will be treated as an insurance case.
Glass Damage (Stone Chip)
As a lessee, you have the option to have a stone chip repaired during the rental period. You can contact Carglass directly and schedule an appointment with one of their mobile technicians. If the stone chip can be repaired, it is free of charge, but if the windshield needs to be replaced, you will be charged a deductible of 1,000 DKK. The technician will assess whether the stone chip can be repaired or if the windshield needs to be replaced."
The glass chip coverage only applies to the windshield in the event of stone chips. Theft, vandalism, etc. are not included. Furthermore, side windows, rear window, and glass roof are also NOT covered by the reduced deductible. Therefore, it is exclusively for the windshield in the case of stone chips where a repair is not possible.
Note: The deductible for a cracked windshield is 1,000 DKK, which may be charged to the user if the windshield cracks during the repair after returning the vehicle.
Repair of paint stone chips
Minor paint damages caused, for example, by stone chips against the bodywork. When a stone chip exceeds 1 cm, it will become a scratch and be treated as an insurance claim.
Puncture / damage to tires.
2.000 kr. per tire
If the car is returned with tires that are losing air and/or punctured, a fee for tire repair will be imposed. The fee does not cover consequential damage to, for example, the wheel, which is a result of driving with low tire pressure or a punctured tire. If there are consequential damages, the incident will be treated as an insurance claim, and the customer will be charged the daily rate or the applicable deductible for the repair. Please note that associated wheel damages (beyond Fair Wear and Tear) and damages resulting from driving with low tire pressure or flat tire are not covered in the price. These damages are considered as improper maintenance of the vehicle.
2699,- per rim
Wheel damages beyond what is allowed in Fair, Wear and Tear, which permits 1 scratch of maximum 1 cm. It is a prerequisite that the damage can be repaired and is not of such extent that it requires a replacement of the wheel. The pricing covers both alloy wheels and 'two-colored' wheels. Likewise, the damage must only involve the wheel and not the tire. Damages to tires are settled separately and are not included in the standard price.
Missing hat shelf
If the hat shelf is missing at drop off, you will be charged the giving price.
Missing Charging cable
If the charging cable is missing at drop off, you will be charged the giving price.
