How do I get my winter tires changed?
From October 15th to April 15th, you need to make sure to switch to winter tires. You will be notified about this through the app and via email, but it is your own responsibility to get it done. Fortunately, it's quite simple. You will receive an email from Rubberduck with some time slots to choose from for changing your tires.
They come to you
Rubberduck offers the fantastic service of coming to wherever you are and changing your tires while you're at work or at home. Therefore, there's no longer a need to drive to a workshop and wait for your tires to be changed.
Tire changes are included in your subscription
As a :Driber, you have your tires changed on your Ride by Rubberduck. This is included in your :Dribe subscription. However, please note that the subscription price changes for all rides from October 15th to April 15th due to winter tires and tire changes. It's important to switch to seasonal tires to ensure the best possible road grip. Additionally, you'll also achieve better fuel economy.
When should you change your tires?
You will always receive email notifications when it's time for a tire change. So, make sure that the email associated with Rubberduck is one you check. Switch to winter tires: from October 1st to no later than November 15th Switch to summer tires: from April 1st to no later than May 15th
You pay for winter tires as part of your monthly payment from October 15th to April 15th. Therefore, you will notice that the price is higher during that period.
New cars from Dribe are equipped with seasonal tires:
Summer tires: from April 15th to October 31st. Winter tires: from November 1st to April 15th.
Please note:
It is not allowed to return a car with the wrong seasonal tires. If you still return your car with the wrong seasonal tires, it will cost 999 DKK including VAT to have :Dribe change the tires. See our price list here.
However, you are allowed to return your car with summer tires during the winter tire season if you have been requested by :Dribe to drop off the car on a specific date.
How to book an appointment:
You will receive an email from Rubberduck. Choose one of the available time slots that Rubberduck is near your address and suits you best. If none of the given time slots are suitable for you, you can request alternative times.
In doubt about which tires are mounted on your car?
If the tire is marked with the M+S symbol and the mountain and snowflake symbol on the side, it's a winter tire. If there's only the M+S symbol, it could be an all-season tire. A summer tire doesn't have a specific marking on the side.
