How do I pick up and drop off my Ride?
You pick up and drop off of your Ride with the app at one of our four locations: Søborg, Aarhus, Fredericia, or Aalborg.
When you open your app, you need to go to "My Ride," then click on "Scheduled Rides." Here, simply scroll down the screen until you find "Start Pickup" or "Dropoff," and follow the displayed flow in the app.
You can pick up your Ride on weekdays from 08:30 AM and on weekends and holidays from 10:00 AM.
The entire process is made simple and straightforward, with the app guiding you through the entire process. You initiate your pickup by clicking on "Start pick up" in your app.
Unless otherwise agreed, you must always drop off your Ride at the :Dribe location where you completed the pickup. This will always take place at one of our four locations: Søborg, Fredericia, Aarhus, and Aalborg.
When dropping off:
Signs will always indicate where you should park your Ride at the respective location. You can perform drop-offs at any time, 24/7.
Place the keys in the glove compartment and lock your car using the app at the drop-off point. The car will be deactivated afterwards.
If, for any reason, the car doesn't lock after you've placed the keys in the glove compartment and attempted to lock the car with the app, you need to perform a key drop-off at the sign that says: "Lose your keys here."
Checklist for Drop off
Here is a checklist for you to go through before you drop off your Ride.
Remember to clean your Ride (exterior wash, interior vacuuming, and surface cleaning).*
Bring both keys.*
Ensure the car is refueled before drop-off.*
Refill AdBlue (for diesel cars) if the car's alert system requires it.*
Make sure to return the car with the right seasonal tires. Winter tires should be used from October 15th to April 15th.*
Remove personal belongings such as sunglasses, car seats, Bro Bizz, etc.
Cancel any parking permits, as they might be tied to the car's registration number.
Remember items that were provided with your Ride, such as the parcel shelf, mats, and service book.
Close windows and, if applicable, the sunroof.
Remember to return the charging card and charging cable for your electric/hybrid car.
If the above points marked with "*" are not adhered to, a fee will be imposed. Refer to the list of potential fees here.
When can I replace or return my Everyday Ride?
You always pay for 30 days at a time, so you can change cars every month if you need to. When you book a Ride, you have the option to choose whether you want money back when you return your Ride. We call this "Set Return Date." You can select one of the possible return dates when you book your Ride. The return date is based on the car's lifespan, so the longer you have the car, the more money you will get back. If you return your Ride on the chosen date, you will receive a refund for each month you've had the Ride. The amount of the refund will be displayed in the app and varies from car to car.
Can I cancel my order for an Everyday Ride before I've picked it up?
Yes, you can cancel your order at any time via the app. If you cancel less than 30 days before pickup, you will be charged 100% of the first rental period. If you cancel more than 30 days before pickup, you will be charged 25%. You have the option to add cancellation "insurance" during the booking process for a one-time fee of 499 DKK.
Day2Day Rides can be picked up from 08:30 AM and must be returned to :Dribe's address in Søborg, Fredericia, Aarhus, or Aalborg by 10:00 AM on the designated Drop-off day that you've specified when booking your Ride. The Drop off process for Day2Day Rides are the same as for an Everyday Ride. Complete the process in the app, where you place the keys in the glove compartment. Afterwards, lock and deactivate the car.
Keys for motorcycles should be returned to Customer Care during our opening hours or through key drop-off. Just remember to return the motorcycle within the gate.
